Pebble's Android users finally get the new appstore
Pebble announced on Friday that it has now made available for Android users, the new Pebble smartwatch app which includes the appstore for the device along with a number of new watchfaces. The Pebble app can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store to Android handsets powered by Android 4.0 or higher. With the update, those with an Android phone or Apple iPhone can have the same experience with their Pebble smartwatch. The iOS version of the appstore was released early last month.

The Pebble smartwatch uses Bluetooth to pair up with your iOS or Android phone, allowing you to check emails and messages while also alerting you to an incoming call. Among the apps available for your Pebble smartwatch are Evernote, and eBay. With the former, you can use functions like Checklists, Reminders, and Notebooks while accessing lists right on your wrist. With the latter, you can add an item to your watchlist and finish the auction process from your phone.

If you're a Pebble owner using an Android device this is the day that you've been waiting for. You can download the app for free right now, on your Android phone.
