LG bends the rules and says the LG Optimus Vu sold 1 million units in South Korea
Share:
We should add that while both the Samsung GALAXY Note II and the LG Optimus Vu both sold 1 million units in South Korea, Samsung accomplished the feat in 90 days while it took LG three times as long. And it would seem that LG is combining sales of both its LG Optimus Vu and LG Optimus Vu II units to reach the 1 million mark. That would seem to muddy the comparison with Samsung's model.

LG why are you cheating, I remember when you guys were the kings of the feature phones with a phone like the LG Dare, LG Chocolate, and LG Envy Touch. Now your smartphones are weird, bozxed, and the software looks cheap. come on guys pick it up!

There isn't one Custom UI that i like in the android camp, But The List would Be Motorolla, Samsung, HTC followed by LG, they do need to do something about their products anything they did on their own i over look it

Hence the reason why people hack and mod Android phones the way we want. I'm running a mod that turns my $40 64gig sd card into primary storage. Or enabling multiview for all apps on my Note 2. Or having the choice of custom roms.
The iphone 5 has been on the market for over 3 months and there is still no jailbreak for it. And I can't even comment about windows phone.

I understand that and i would too, but something looking like crap right out of the box doesn't get my interest. The idea that i have to jump through hoops just to get something looking close to presentable turns me away from that product, Hacking is alright but personally i could never get that done before my warranty is up that's just me. There are multiple reasons why i would prefer my device to be appealing right out of the box and LG just doesn't yet create their software with that kind of flare stock android has. Initially i would personalize with apps months later after i've gotten accustomed to my "new" phone i would then root it and continue from there.

Lg should stop making these crappy phones and should focus on getting more Nexus 4's in stock... am sure they will be able to boost about the numbers then...

oh LG, everyone knows you're trying to copy the statement that samsung said. i don't think anyone would use Vu for smartphone, 4:3 ratio is great for tablet but not for smartphone

LG phablet sucks HARDWARE WISE, its is very uncomfortable to hold...even Huwaei and BLU makes better phablets, but samsung is the only one who did it perfectly

I monthly don't think its that bad of a phone. I actually think 4:3 looks decent, its not slow, has a functioning pen with colors and such, who uses pressure sensitivity every day anyways? Sure the bezels are way bigger than needed, but that makes it very thin. Would fit perfect in any bag, this is a phone for bag people and its perfect. I do agree that this would be best offered as like an iPod touch deal, as a mini tablet you know. If lg made this without cellular, it would skyrocket!
