LG F490 Liger could be called "G3 Screen", new photos show up
The LG F490 Liger that we told you about yesterday has now appeared somewhere in Vietnam, so we can take a closer look at it thanks to lots of photos published by a Vietnamese website.

As previously reported, the F490 sports a 5.9-inch 1080p display, thus being as large as the LG G Pro 2 - though the new handset looks more like an LG G3 (especially when viewed from the back). Speaking of the G3, it seems that the F490 will be called LG G3 Screen - a pretty weird name choice, if you ask us. This name shows up in some promo material from South Korea (seen in the slideshow below).

Regardless of its final name, the F490 is powered by LG’s own Odin / NUCLUN octa-core processor, which seemingly has four Cortex-A7 cores, and four Cortex-A15 cores. The Vietnamese folks who managed to get their hands on the smartphone ran some benchmark tests, though these don’t seem to be conclusive.

In addition to the features mentioned above, the F490 also offers 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB / 32 GB of internal memory, 13 MP rear camera with laser auto focus, and a 3000 mAh battery. It looks like there will be three versions of the handset (for all three South Korean mobile carriers): LG F490L, LG F490K, and LG F490S. The new smartphone could be officially announced pretty soon - we'll let you know when it happens.
