Huawei has introduced its latest Media Pad tablet, the Huawei Media Pad 7 Youth. The Chinese manufacturer is using an aluminum unibody design and the device will be 9.9mm thing, weighing just 350g. The tablet will be equipped with a 7 inch, 10 point touchscreen. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.6GHz processor, produced using the 28nm process. A 4100mAh battery allows for nearly two weeks of standby power and video will be played back in 1080 x 1920 resolution.

With Android 4.1 pre-installed on the tablet, the device will offer HSPA+21 and Wi-Fi connectivity. While Huawei didn't mention a price, the slab is headed for Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe some time during the current quarter. As you can guess from the "Youth" name, this tablet is designed for younger users in those regions.
