Huawei announces new aluminum clad Media Pad 7 Youth
Huawei has introduced its latest Media Pad tablet, the Huawei Media Pad 7 Youth. The Chinese manufacturer is using an aluminum unibody design and the device will be 9.9mm thing, weighing just 350g. The tablet will be equipped with a 7 inch, 10 point touchscreen. Under the hood is a dual-core 1.6GHz processor, produced using the 28nm process. A 4100mAh battery allows for nearly two weeks of standby power and video will be played back in 1080 x 1920 resolution.

With Android 4.1 pre-installed on the tablet, the device will offer HSPA+21 and Wi-Fi connectivity. While Huawei didn't mention a price, the slab is headed for Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe some time during the current quarter. As you can guess from the "Youth" name, this tablet is designed for younger users in those regions.

"The MediaPad 7 Youth is a versatile tablet that provides an unsurpassed experience across hardware and software. Ideal for young people who are always on the move, the MediaPad 7 Youth delivers on Huawei’s promise to make extraordinary technology experiences accessible for all."-Wang Yinfeng, Vice President, Home Connected Device Product Line, Huawei Device

The annoyance with Huawei is their laziness to use the latest Android versions or to even provide Android upgrades, clearly they don't care about the software.

They don't care about immaterial rights either. Huawei is one of the worst copycats in this planet. They don't care about customers.
