HTC keyboard case for a tablet appears; could be accessory for Nexus slate
A tweet that refers to an upcoming HTC tablet as the HTC T1, mentions that the slate will have an accessory known as the Magic Cover. Available in leather and in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), the cover uses magnets to fold up into a triangle which will support the tablet, allowing you to prop it up in the correct angle while typing. When you are not using the tablet, the device fits on top of the keyboard, with a flap covering the screen. The magnets lock and unlock the tablet, similar to Apple's Smart Cover.

The keyboard on the case is expected to use NFC in order to pair with the tablet. The QWERTY is powered by a 450mAh cell that is onboard the case. The accessory has a dimension of 228mm x 320mm x 5 mm. The leather version of the case will be available in Natural and in Black, while the TPU version will come in Coral Amethyst, Mint Indigo, Lime Stone and Indigo Black.

The HTC T1 is most likely the codenamed HTC Volantis, which will eventually be launched as the Nexus 9. In July, there was talk that HTC would be otffering two other models, a T7 and T12. That would be a 7 inch and 12 version of a new tablet. With all of this talk, we are hoping to see some concrete information soon, from HTC.
