HTC Aero to sport a QHD panel with 2.5D glass, protected by Gorilla Glass 4?

HTC Aero to sport a QHD panel with 2.5D glass, protected by Gorilla Glass 4?
Disappointing sales of the HTC One M9 have put pressure on HTC to come up with a new handset that can compete next fall with models like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Apple iPhone 6s. To that end, the company recently announced that it would have a newly redesigned "Hero" model ready for unveiling on October.

A recent report said that the new flagship phone is going to sport a camera that features support for RAW files, and will come with an aperture of f/1.9. This will allows users to take high quality pictures even under less than optimal lighting conditions.

HTC is apparently going full-out with the Aero. According to the same source that leaked the news about the new breakthrough camera technology, the re-designed flagship will be equipped with a 1440 x 2560 QHD screen of unknown size. While HTC chose to stick with a 1080 x 1920 FHD screen on the HTC One M9, other variants of the device such as the HTC One M9+, do feature a QHD screen. In addition, the display on the Aero is expected to feature 2.5D glass, and will be protected by Gorilla Glass 4.

While we suggest taking this information with a grain of salt, we also have to add that if these tidbits of leaked information are true, HTC could be building a true contender.

Thanks for the tip!

If it ships with the 810 it's DOA.

Absolutely, but since vendors are already testing the SD820, I imagine that will be the SoC of choice.

New design, something like the evleaks render of the M9. Add a square fingerprint scanner button also to silence the people calling it a samsung copy.

I wonder why people still take this "copy" bullshit so seriously? It doesn't matter if the manufacturer is copying or not, as long as the product is good. It's up to the manufacturers to decide whether they should copy or making their own. The way they're doing is just like humans, humans love to copy as well.

1. Remember when you were a student from primary/high school/college, and sometimes you borrow your friend's homework to copy the answers to yours. That is a copy.

2. Your friends put their profile picture on their social media profile, and when you saw it, you wanna put your profile picture on your social media profile as well. That is a copy.

3. You see someone having trendy hairstyles, and then you wanna have a trendy hairstyle as well. That is a copy.

4. You see people using iPhone, you wanna have an iPhone as well. That is a copy.

If you didn't do any of these before, then congratulations, you're an endangered species of a human.

Cool I hope it has a fingerprint scanner,NFC, and 805 snapdragon or anything mid to high level as long as its not the 810snapdragon. And I hope they have a 5.7 or higher screen size ... To replace the HTC One max

First they release the HTC One M9 for the U.S and then HTC says fu€k the U.S and releases 3 new smartphones that are better then the One M9 and wonder way they're losing money, Well it's because HTC is really Stupid! I've waited to see a awesome smartphone and they gave the Finger. What next are they going remake the One Max with better specs and call it a revolution Hahaha! It's funny if you think about.

I don't know what is this about RAW photos!? I already have it on my HTC M9... And Gorilla Glass 4? That is also a screen I already have on the same phone. And I can tell you that after an updates,810 soc works great,no heat whatewer... OK. I also hope that fingerprint scanner would be square like... And that's it. you have my vote HTC. GO STRONG!!
