Customers receiving HTC EVO 4G LTE shipping notifications
It looks like Sprint is making good on that whole “on or around May 24th” promise it made the other day in regards to the arrival of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Those that pre-ordered started receiving notifications from Sprint that device has shipped today. That’s great news for all those that shelled out their hard earned cash only to be thrown into limbo when the device got caught up at customs due to issues stemming from an ITC judgment.

Hopefully, those of you that pre-ordered will be unboxing your device as early as tomorrow morning. In the meantime, you can watch our unboxing to prepare yourself for the joy you will be experiencing real soon.

Also thanks to those that posted in the comments of our last HTC EVO 4G LTE story saying they received shipping notifications!

I hope the stores get them in the same day as the pre-orders arrive, considering that was the original plan anyways. The only difference is that it's happening six days late.

"Hi Steve! Today we're going to learn to ship HTC phones. First you box the phone. Then, slip the envelope of cash to the customs officers. Don't forget to flip off any Apple employee you see."

*children wave*

"BYE STEVE!"

About an hour ago I received a call from the Best Buy I reserved my EVO letting me know its in. Thinking of calling out the rest of the day to pick it up....
