5 cool Instagram alternatives for iOS and Android

You've probably heard by now that Facebook is acquiring the popular image-enhancing and sharing service Instagram for the whooping $1 billion. And, although Zuck and company promise to keep and develop the service in its current form, this doesn't mean that this would be the case in the long run. That's why we thought that it may not be such a bad idea for hardcore image filter users to create an account and start using an alternative service. But which one to choose? Yeah, as it turns out, there's quite a lot of choice in this particular corner of our favorite app storefronts.

Regardless of whether you want to start using another service just in case, or you simply hate Facebook, we're sure that you'll find a suitable alternative in one of the five iOS and Android apps that we've selected in the following gallery...
