Nice sound quality, good UI. Nice feel. Good camera quality, especially during its time of release. Good internet speed. When all you have to do is more of texting-calling, with audio-consumption and internet-surfing on the side, then this is a perfect phone. But, things change, of course. :)
Nokia N70 is a smartphone released at 2005 and is one of the first phones seen in the first release of NSeries line of "multimedia computers" by Nokia. It is a smartphone that comes with S60 2nd Edition FP3 interface or Symbian OS. Since it comes with an OS, multi-tasking is possible. The physical appearance of the Nokia N70 is quite good. It is a small candybar style phone. Since it was a small device, the keys in this phone are made smaller compared to its predecessor, the Nokia 6680. The most notable problem in the keypad is the placement of the "2" key. The "2" key is placed closed to the down navigation key and it means that you might experience some accidental key press especially during typing in the keypad. On the right side of the phone, you'll find a RS-MMC card slot and a shutter button. The RS-MMC card slot can be hard to open for those people who have small nails. The shutter key is small and it is quite difficult to press. On the top of the phone you'll find a power button and a stereo loudspeaker. The power button is very small and if you've used Nokia 6680 before, you'll find it very difficult to press. The loudspeaker produces superior quality especially when playing songs using the Music Player. On the back, you'll find a 2 Megapixel Fixed Focus Camera with an LED flash. The camera outputs good quality in normal lighting situations and average quality in low-lighting conditions. Technically speaking, the reason why Nokia N70 provides good quality images because all the pictures taken in it are processed before being saved. The camera is able to record VHS-quality videos and can save it in .MP4 format which means that videos being captured in this phone can be playbacked in PC and in the phone itself. On the front you'll find an Ambient sensor (the small square located near the "N70" mark), the screen, and a front VGA camera. The ambient sensor helps the phone in saving energy when it is being used under good lighting conditions and under sunlight. The screen is at the size 176x208 pixels or appoximately 1.8 inches. The screen quality is good but can be bad when being used under sunlight. The front VGA camera is used for video calls and produces average quality in good lighting conditions and worst in the poor lighting conditions.Performance wise, the Nokia N70 can be quite sluggish in opening different applications simultaneously. Some of the applications open fast while some are not. Opening up the Gallery menu may take up to 20 seconds before it loads all the multimedia files on the phone completely.Overall, the Nokia N70 could be a good smartphone for beginners especially to those who want a 3G phone. But for those who have used the Nokia 6680, you'll find this phone quite disappointing because of its design and performance issues but still, this is a smartphone that comes in even a smaller size compared to its predecessors.
Awesome!!! Phone good recieption. My wife loved her little N70. She load that thing up songs and pics. But it lasted only a year and then the screen died... Another Poor quality control phone from Nokia...
