Is this how the Sony Xperia XZ4 is going to look? Alleged screen protector leak shows a new face
About a month ago, we got our first good look at what the Sony Xperia XZ4 would allegedly look like. A phone that expands upon the design language of the XZ3, giving it a much lengthier display, super-thin bezels, and a triple camera on the back. The render we got a glimpse at is not official and is based on alleged leaked CAD schematics. But the leakster that provided them has a pretty good track record, so there's a fairly good chance we already know how the Sony Xperia XZ4 is going to look.

Today, another leak dropped, giving us a look at a front glass panel for the Xperia XZ4. And it looks pretty much identical to what the CAD renders from before showed us, so it reaffirms the previous information. A long, really long 21:9 aspect ratio display will adorn the phone's front, surrounded by an extremely thin frame.

Things of note: the bezels are super-thin, yet the top and bottom ones are not symmetrical, which might rub a lot of people the wrong way. The two holes we see next to the earpiece are probably not a dual selfie camera, nor a face recognition module — according to older leaks, these simply house a sensor and a single camera.

According to early leaks, the Xperia XZ4 will have a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side — nothing fancy like under-the-glass scanner, or enhanced face recognition. It's also expected to have a massive 3,900 mAh battery, which might put Sony back in the race for best battery life. And, of course, it'll pack the latest-and-greatest in hardware — a Snapdragon 855 and a probable 6 GB of RAM.

We expect to see the Sony Xperia XZ4 announced at MWC 2019 in this coming February.
