UPDATE: The Samsung Galaxy S21 & S21+ are now official, and so is the Galaxy S21 Ultra!

###
The Galaxy S20 series was very expensive when it launched in March. This led to quite a lot of criticism from customers around the world, and in response, Samsung is preparing to lower prices for certain Galaxy S21 models.

Before we proceed, it's worth pointing out that reservations for the Galaxy S21 preorder are now open in the US and you can get $50 in store credit.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra could be more expensive than the S20 Ultra

Our friends at WinFuture and tipster Nils Ahrensmeier have obtained pricing information for the entire Galaxy S21 series across Europe. The news comes from a source that has been reliable in the past, but do note that the official prices could vary depending on the market due to the different local VAT rates.

Nevertheless, here's how much the Samsung Galaxy S21 series could cost in Europe:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 128GB — €849
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 256GB — €899
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 128GB — €1,049
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 256GB —  €1,099
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 128GB — €1,249
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 256GB — €1,299
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 512GB — €1,429

In terms of how these prices compare to previous device, you'll be pleased to hear that both the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are cheaper than their predecessors. The Galaxy S20 retailed at €999 at launch, which equates to a €150 price drop in 2021.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S21+ is €50 cheaper than the base Galaxy S20+ model, which was available for €1,099.

Despite earlier rumors, it seems the Galaxy S21 Ultra will indeed be cheaper than its predecessors. Whereas the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra landed at €1,349 and €1,299 respectively, the Galaxy S21 Ultra could be available for as little as €1,249.

Samsung Galaxy S21 prices in the United States

The official US pricing should leak over the coming weeks, but the information about European prices does put into question recent rumors about massive price cuts across the whole Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup.

If the European prices listed above are accurate and recent Samsung launches are anything to go by, the Galaxy S21 series could be priced as follows in the United States:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 — $799
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ — $1999
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra — $1,199

These prices are purely estimates, but it's worth noting that US models are expected to include 256GB of storage as standard. If accurate, all models could receive price cuts of around $100.

Samsung Galaxy S21 prices in the United Kingdom

Per the information shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy S21 prices in the United Kingdom should look as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S21 128GB — £769
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 256GB — £819
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 128GB — £949
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 256GB — £999
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 128GB — £1,149
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 256GB — £1,199

As expected, all Galaxy S21 models will be available with the choice of 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. In other regions a 512GB model is planned, but the price leak suggests that won't be sold in the UK.
