Rare Surface Go deal bundles Microsoft's smallest tablet with a keyboard at $190 off
If you're in the market for an extra-large tablet with laptop-grade performance, a beautiful display, excellent battery life, and optional keyboard and pen support, Microsoft has made it pretty much impossible to resist the Surface Pro 6 with a bunch of killer deals lately. But if you can't afford the discounted prices of the 2018-released 12-inch powerhouse or want something a little easier to carry around, the 10-inch Surface Go is definitely worth a shot.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has rarely offered decent savings on the $399 starting price of its smallest ever tablet since making it official last summer. Enter top-rated eBay seller e-techgalaxy, which currently charges only $409.99 for a 128GB Surface Go configuration bundled with a Type Cover.
That's not the tablet's entry-level variant, mind you, normally fetching $499 by itself with an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y chipset inside, as well as 4GB RAM and a speedy 128 gig solid state drive. The cheapest model packs the same exact processor and memory count, but a far less impressive 64GB eMMC storage drive. Basically, you're paying 10 bucks more here for a substantial upgrade in both storage space and performance, not to mention a complimentary keyboard.
It's not entirely clear what Type Cover version we're looking at here, but based on product images attached to the $410 listing, this is a standard black option rather than a costlier and fancier Signature Type Cover in Burgundy, Platinum, or Cobalt. Still, that's at least another $100 in savings, bringing the grand total up to around $190, and fret not, the Surface Go on sale today is listed as "brand-new, unused, unopened, and undamaged", shipping in its "original packaging" for free across the lower 48 states.
At $409.99, the Microsoft Surface Go significantly undercuts Apple's new $499 and up iPad Air, as well as last year's $329 iPad 9.7 when considering the added cost of a separately available premium Bluetooth keyboard. The only downside is this eBay seller can't hook you up with a valid US warranty for the sleek and powerful Surface Go. Otherwise, it's a steal.
