While the iPad Pro is undeniably the most powerful Apple tablet, everyday users probably don't need all that extra power. For those looking for a capable device at a more reasonable price, the iPad Air M2 is the best fit. Right now, you can grab the 11-inch version for just under $730, saving you $170.

Sure, this isn't the most powerful iPad Air version anymore. But given that Apple recently adjusted the prices of its latest M4-powered device, I think this one is definitely worth checking out.

Amazon has also discounted the Apple iPad A16, making it a solid alternative for users on a budget.

The iPad Air M2 with an 11-inch display and a massive 512GB of storage can now be yours with a hefty $170 discount at Amazon. The device is only on sale at that price in its Purple color variant. This is the Wi-Fi-only version, so keep that in mind.

The iPad Air M2 actually continues to outperform many of the best Android tablets to this day, even though it was launched two years ago. It handles daily tasks with ease, and you can even play games without any stutter.

Plus, thanks to its 11-inch display size, it's comfortable enough for long streaming sessions at home and note-taking during classes. You'll need to cough up extra for a compatible stylus, so keep that in mind.

Another thing to note is that the screen is LCD, meaning you won't get the same vibrant colors you would with the iPad Pro's display. Still, the resolution is sharp, and colors still look good enough for everyday use.

As for the battery life, we've measured the 13-inch version to last nearly 15 hours of web browsing on a single charge (check out our iPad Air M2 review for reference). The 11-inch model probably won't give you the same runtime, but you should still find it perfectly suitable for most of your needs.

Ultimately, the iPad Air M2 remains a great choice for iOS fans looking for a powerful and affordable alternative to the iPad Pro lineup. Get yours now and save $170 at Amazon.
