iZZi Orbit iPhone 5 case features fisheye, wide-angle, 2x zoom camera lens, yours for $200
Now here is an interesting iPhone 5 case, the kind of which we don't get to see every day. The Orbit is made by iZZi Gadgets and in addition to protecting the surface of the iPhone 5 from accidental scratches, it outfits the smartphone with three high-quality lenses for its camera. One of them provides a 180-degree fisheye view, which would be perfect for capturing those skateboarding tricks, a 2x optical zoom lens is available for bringing the action closer, and a 67x wide-angle lens has been thrown in for good measure.

Clearly, the iZZi Orbit is made for amateur photographers, or enthusiasts that don't really like carrying a dedicated camera all the time. Still, it doubles as a protective case as well with its two-layer armor. Made out of aircraft-grade aluminum, the case is available in red, black, and silver. Out of the box you get a protective sleeve, wrist lanyard, microfiber cleaning cloth, and accessory mates.

Currently, the iZZi Orbit is not available for purchase, but you can pre-order one through Kickstarter for $200. Alternatively, a model with a single lens is also available for a price of $100. The accessory is expected to start shipping in October.

$200 bucks for a protective case with just 3 lenses? Overpriced. I could buy a normal camera for that price.

Too bad no manufacturer has really incorporated this idea! Imagine being able to buy cases with proper zoom lenses external xenon flash etc.

its a great concept, just gotta aim it at the right phones, i mean this would be for someone who is atleast mildly into photography especially at that price. so for me phones like the nokia 808, n8 , LG's iptimus and sony xperia lot would be the perfect choice for these kinds of cases. just my opinion
