The Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra are picking up new redesigns next year as Samsung is reportedly moving on from its iconic vertical triple camera setup. To my genuine surprise, though, you seem to find the Galaxy S27 Pro a better-looking phone than the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
New designs for the Galaxy S27 series
According to leaked design renders and now a leaked image of phone cases for Samsung’s upcoming flagships, the Ultra and the new Pro model are both getting a larger camera island. The camera island will cover a greater area on the back of the phones and will feature a different camera layout as well.
Meanwhile, the base Galaxy S27 as well as the Galaxy S27 Plus will look the same as their predecessors. The triple camera layout will be present and correct with the raised camera bump that was introduced this year making a return too.

In a poll, we asked you which of the four new phones you thought looked the best. Much to my surprise, the Galaxy S27 Pro got the most votes, with over 42 percent of you saying that it not only had a cool redesign but it was also the perfect size at the rumored 6.47 inches.
With almost 36 percent of the votes, the Galaxy S27 Ultra came in second place. I, personally, find the Ultra to be most appealing because I’ve always valued display size very highly.

A little over 11 percent of you voted for the base Galaxy S27, citing its short, sweet, and iconic look. In last place as always was the poor Plus model with only a little over 10 percent of voters who wanted the familiar Samsung design but didn’t want a phone that was too small. What about you?

I can see why, but I still choose the Ultra
Many of you have been wanting a powerful phone that isn’t too large for years now. The Galaxy S27 Pro — which has a lot of the Ultra’s features — is just that, so I can see why it’s getting so popular.
Personally, when it comes to traditional candy bar phones, I always opt for the largest display possible. But I would not be surprised if the Galaxy S27 Pro is a hit with the masses just like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 has been this year.
