As for the phone itself, well, it’s perfect if you want a capable phone that you can rely on but don’t need an insane amount of firepower. Boasting an Exynos 1680 chipset and 8GB of RAM, it can tackle most tasks with ease, so browsing the web and streaming YouTube videos are effortless here. You might notice some stutters if you try to multitask a gazillion apps simultaneously—after all, it’s not a Galaxy S26 Ultra, but as long as you don’t push it too hard, you shouldn't have any problems with it.
You also get a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, 1,900 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Not only is that pretty great for a phone in this price range, but it also allows you to enjoy high-quality content for the price. Plus, the high brightness and refresh rate ensure you’ll see everything clearly even in direct sunlight, all while enjoying smooth scrolling and menu navigation.
Since this is a mid-range handset, Samsung had to cut corners in the camera department. But while its pictures can’t rival those taken with the best camera phones, the photos captured with the 50MP main camera and 12MP front snapper still look pretty amazing. That said, I should also point out that the processing here is a bit unpredictable, which can sometimes lead to overexposed bright backgrounds and inky blue night skies.
