In terms of audio, you get Bose's signature top-quality sound, with the option to tailor it to your taste via the EQ in the companion app. You’re only missing out on the surround sound feature, dynamic head tracking, USB-C lossless audio—which you need a suitable streaming service for anyway—and the high-bitrate aptX Adaptive codec, which reduces lag on Android.
On top of that, you get Bose's world-class ANC. Yep, that’s right! These may not be the fancy “Ultra,” but they still come with top-tier active noise cancellation and are great for long listening sessions with their comfy earcups and up to 24 hours of battery life.
Just like with the more expensive Bose QuietComfort Ultra—and the Sony WH-1000XM6, for that matter—you, sadly, won't find an official IP rating for dust or water resistance here. Therefore, you may want to be careful with them if you plan to use them in the gym.
