For an ultra-rugged timepiece, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is reasonably stylish as well.
That's not just based on our glowing review of Cupertino's newest outdoor-friendly wearable, but also how hard it is to find the device at a substantial discount, even compared to the (presumably) similarly successful Apple Watch Series 11.
While Apple's latest "mainstream" high-end smartwatch is sold by retailers like Amazon at $100 under its $400 list price essentially more often than not nowadays, the Series 11's more robust and expensive sibling is marked down by a Benjamin from a whopping $799 for the first time in several months.
The previous such Apple Watch Ultra 3 deal was itself a rarity, and even though Amazon's Prime Day 2026 sales event is right around the corner, I believe there's a good possibility this new offer will go away before long. That's because there's only one version with a black titanium case and a one-size black ocean band available for 100 bucks less than usual on Amazon (with no special requirements), which typically signals low inventory or a limited timeframe.
Could the same discount be offered again next week? Absolutely, but if you're not a Prime member and don't want to become one just to save $100 on one of the best smartwatches money can buy in 2026, it might be a good idea to pull the trigger today.

And yes, I know (as you do) that a presumably improved Apple Watch Ultra 4 is (probably) only a few months away. But I wouldn't rule out that product's retail price going up to $899 and staying around that mark for several months after that. Besides, there's obviously no guarantee its upgrades will be very significant.
After all, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is already an absolute powerhouse, a battery life champion, and an unrivaled satellite communicator, so even if the Ultra 4 were to come with, say, a larger screen and/or thinner profile, you will not regret "settling" for its predecessor... as long as you score a nice little discount in the process.
