ZCast is an app that aims to let everybody become a podcaster. It lets one broadcast their message to the world with just a tap! Simply choose a topic and invite friends to begin live streaming your audio and share to your Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn profile to get the word out.
The app supports scheduling podcasts for a later date as well, letting you give your fans a heads-up. Once the cast is done, you can edit it, add meta-data, then decide when you would like your cast to be published on your own personal landing page.
With ZCast you can also tune in to live podcasts from other users and use the live chat feature to participate in a conversation with the hosts. You can also go through the landing pages of your favorite casters to catch up on their previous content. This way, it’s easy to access live, recorded and upcoming casts as well as to like and share your favorites to provide support for your favorite podcasters.
ZCast is currently available on iOS on the web, with an Android version in the works for later.
