A tweet from the official Pocophone Global Twitter account (@PocophoneGlobal) indicates that the Pocophone F1 is now available in the U.K. via Amazon. The first phone issued by Xioami's sub-brand features top-shelf specs including the Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, which is found under the hood. The phone carries a 6.18-inch LCD display with a 1080 x 2246 resolution. That works out to an aspect ratio of 18.7:9.
A dual camera setup (12MP + 5MP depth sensor) is on back, while a 20MP front-facing selfie snapper is included. The models offered by Amazon U.K. carry 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of native storage, both models powered by a 4000 mAh battery. Android 8.1 is pre-installed.
The Pocophone F1 is priced at £329.99 for the 64GB version ($433.29 USD at current exchange rates), and £349.99 for the 128GB model ($460 USD). These are relatively low prices for such well-spec'd models. While it seems that quoting the Pocophone F1 in U.S. Dollars might seem like a wasted effort, Xiaomi is holding an event in New York on December 8th. Since it is a month away, we can speculate that perhaps the company will unveil its first U.S. compatible smartphone during the event. We would not be that surprised if the Pocophone F1 ended up offered in the states, through Amazon.
