Xiaomi Pocophone F1 certification reveals powerful CPU, 20MP front camera
It looks like Xiaomi is truly preparing to launch yet another top-tier smartphone, which goes by the name of Pocophone F1. The smartphone recently received its Bluetooth certification, which confirms the fact that it does exist, although Xiaomi can always cancel its launch if it wants to like it did with the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro.

But the listing at Bluetooth SIG reveals even more information, not just the name of the phone. Buried deep in the documents filed at the regulatory agency, there's the page where the Pocophone F1 “qualified design” is fully described.

It confirms the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with “liquid system which helps boasts extremely fast processing power at sustain peak performance.” Furthermore, the Pocophone F1 will feature a dual rear camera (12MP+5MP) with 1.4 µm large pixels and dual pixel autofocus on the main sensor.

There's also an impressive 20-megapixel camera in the front which supports Super Pixel technology that mixes info of four pixels into one large pixel, which can reduce noise, capture more light and enhance the overall quality of photos, especially in low-light conditions.

Xiaomi's Pocophone F1 will include an infrared “illuminator” and an infrared camera, which will allow users to take advantage of the AI face unlock feature even in completely dark conditions, not just in bright daylight.

Add to that that the phone will be available in two variants – 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, which will cost €420 and €460, respectively, and we could have a major winner here.
