Windows Phone 7 network icon set features Verizon's 3G, as well as WiMAX and LTE
Windows Phone 7's launch is approaching fast, and those of us who were in doubt it is here to stay, just need to look at its network icon set legend, posted on the new WP7 help site. It sports icons for Verizon's EV-DO 3G standard, as well as WiMAX and LTE.

Such devices are therefore in Microsoft's plans for the future development of WP7, probably as early as next year. We are fairly certain that the LTE icon will light up first on an AT&T smartphone, and it is clear where the WiMAX device will be heading.
