While you wait: get 16 high-res Android Marshmallow-inspired wallpapers
Google introduced the upcoming 6.0 version of its mobile operating system simply as "Android M" back in the beginning of the summer, before it became clear last week that it will be known as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As the most recent developer preview of Android is up, it was merely a matter of time before the new wallpapers that came along with it popped up on the world wide web.
The official walls are all fine and dandy, but talented folks have taken the Marshmallow theming to a life of its own, outside of the official developer preview versions. Take these 16 Marshmallow-inspired 1080p wallpapers below, drawn by the crafty hand of Abo Hani, a developer, modder, and ThinkDroid chief. These are based on the same Google's Material Design guidance with plates shadow effects as the official ones we showed you the other day, so check them out in the slideshow below, and be patient, as these are the high-res versions that make take a while to load.
