WhatsApp is getting some nifty voice note changes in latest update
WhatsApp probably has a dozen unannounced new features in the pipeline, but if you're running the beta version of the app, you already have access to some of them. The latest update for the stable build is adding a new feature that was available for beta users since November: consecutive voice messages.

But what exactly is consecutive voice messages, anyway? Let's say that for whatever reason one of your contacts is sending you more than one voice messages. The latest version of WhatsApp will automatically play these messages if they were sent one after another.

As soon as a voice message is played till the end, you'll hear a beep, and the app will start playing the next one. Everything is done automatically so you won't have to play each of them manually.

One other minor improvements spotted by AndroidPolice is that the audio messages will now display their file name below. Both improvements are part of the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, which has already been released in the Google Play Store.
