What should Motorola do? 20,000 say “Unlock the bootloader!”

You shouldn't ask a question if youdon't want to hear the answer, but judging from the company's latestpoll that's exactly what Motorola did. The company asked its Facebookfans what apps would they like to see next in a Motorola-brandedhandset and the overwhelming answer was (unsurprisingly) an unlockedbootloader.

Just how overwhelming? At the time wefirst checked out the poll and the time we started writing thisarticle, the votes surged from 16,000 to nearly 21,000. And as youcan see on the screenshot, only a negligible few suggested they want different apps. That comes as no surprise after Motoshockingly adviced users in a YouTube comment to “buy elsewhere”if they want the freedom to flash custom ROMs. Shortly after thecompany released an official apology on Facebook. So maybe, Motorola,if you didn't listen to one comment on YouTube, it's about time tolisten to 20,000?
