Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, there is a way to watch it live streamed in 360 degrees. The streaming is the result of a partnership between Macy’s, NBC Universal, and Verizon. To view the Macy's Parade in 360 degrees, you will need to use a platform that supports 360 degree YouTube videos in the browser.
360 degree cameras have been placed at strategic points along the parade route. Starting at 9am EST, click on the video at the top of the story; if your browser does support the 360 degree streaming, you'll be able to move your device from side to side and take in the floats, balloons and dancing as though you are right there while it is happening. You can be hundreds of miles away from the parade route and still feel like you're standing on the sidewalks of Manhattan.
