Virgin Mobile UK receives the thumbs up for the HTC Wildfire

With less than a day after being officially announced to the world, the HTC Wildfire has been confirmed to be heading to Virgin Mobile UK. Considered to be an affordable solution over the HTC Desire and Legend, the HTC Wildfire is gearing up to become a highly functional smartphone that accomplishes just about the same tasks as its brothers and sisters, but it'll do it with lower specs in a smaller and compact form factor. Expected to go live some time during the third quarter of this year with Virgin Mobile UK, there has been no confirmation surrounding its pricing just yet. Their press release said, “The handset is due out in Q3, and we'll update as soon as we can with tariff information, which as usual will include exclusive benefits for Virgin Media customers.” Over the course of the next couple of months, we'd expect additional carrier announcements throughout Europe and Asia as this smartphone will surely have some kind of appeal to consumers out there.
