Video teasers surface for Yu Yuphoria; handset to be unveiled May 12th
Indian handset manufacturer Micromax plans on unveiling the next handset for its Yu line on May 12th. The invitations that have been sent out for the unveiling indicate that the phone will be unwrapped on Tuesday at noon India time. The device will be powered by the latest release from Cyanogen, which is based on Android 5.0. Micromax signed an exclusivity deal for India with the Android ROM provider last year. The Yuphoria, like the Yu Yureka, will be available via Amazon only.

Besides the invitation, a couple of teasers have appeared to promote the phone. The first one shows how the Yuphoria can survive a hard drop to the floor (in fact, it is the floor that you have to be concerned with, apparently). The second teaser shows how powerful the speaker on the handset is. When the earphones are plugged out of the Yuphoria, the speaker generates so much power that it can blow hair like a hair dryer.

Yes, these teaser are not exactly ready for prime time and you probably won't find them on Indian television. But Yu says that they provide clues about the Yuphoria. Yes, the phone will be durable and it features an enhanced speaker. But other details like pricing and availability will have to wait for Tuesday.

The most worthless phone brand to exist. Saw Yureka few days back, looks cheaper than that cheap price it asked for. Absolute POS. End of day, you get what you pay for. You are never going to find the quality of Samsung, Apple, HTC,Sony in these cheap junk. You may tolerate that as a 2nd phone, but as a primary device they are as bad as it gets. Total crap devices..

You have really not used yureka.. It's not best of phones... But it's best phone you can buy in its price range... It doesn't feel cheap.. It feels like HTC one x..
