Unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 allegedly shows up again: thin, metal profile visible
Not long after announcing the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Galaxy Tab A 9.7, now Samsung is seemingly getting ready to unveil two other slates with 4:3 ratio displays measuring 8 inches and 9.7 inches, respectively. Expected to be called Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, the two upcoming devices could be officially presented in June as the successors to the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 from last year.

Earlier this week, we told you about a render that allegedly presented the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, showing its front side. Today, a new render showed up, this time revealing the tablet's rear. As you can see below, the Tab S2 9.7 seems to be a pretty elegant device. Supposedly, it's made out of metal, measuring 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.5 mm - that's thinner than the iPad Air 2.

Unlike the Galaxy Tab A series, the S2 family will reportedly include high-end tablets with features like 2048 x 1536 pixels AMOLED screens, and octa-core 64-bit processors (probably the Exynos 7420 that's also powering the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge).

Both the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 should run Android Lollipop at launch. Now let's wait for Samsung to officially announce them, shall we?
