Twitter audio cards allow you to listen to music without leaving the Twitter app
Twitter audio cards allow you to listen to music without leaving Twitter. All you need to do is tap on the card to hear the music, even while you browse inside the Twitter app. That's right, you are listening to music (or a podcast) while in your timeline on your iOS or Android device. While Twitter expects to have several third-party partners involved, the first is SoundCloud.

You are listening to the sound using an embedded audio player inside Twitter. That means you can minimize the player, diggin' the tunes, while continuing to do whatever you came to Twitter to do in the first place. Or, you can decide just to view the information and art that accompanies each audio card. And when you're ready to stop the music, you don't have to exit the app completely. Tapping on the icon and swiping it away, will stop the audio card from playing.

Current content from SoundCloud includes podcasts from The White House, and Glen Beck. You can hear music from Coldplay, David Guetta and others. See how the Twitter audio cards work by clicking on the slideshow, below.
