Tweet reveals the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini wearing both AT&T and Sprint brands
A tweet sent on Thursday by serial leaker @evleaks reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is coming to both AT&T and Sprint. As we mentioned Friday morning, this particular model has been a slow mover due to the combination of slowing sales of the full-sized model, and slow sales of Android mini phones in general. The picture of the AT&T version of the phone shows the device wearing pink while the unit wearing the Sprint name is clothed in Black Mist and White Frost.
We don't have any idea of a launch date (remember, these are leaked pictures) or pricing. We can tell you that the specs seem to jive with the overseas edition. That means you should expect a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 540 x 960 (qHD). That works out to a pixel density of 256ppi. A dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 is under the hood with 1.5GB of RAM. 8GB of native storage leaves 5GB for the user and a 1900mAh cell powers up the phone. The rear-facing 8MP snapper captures video in 1080 x 1920 at 30fps, and there is a 1.9MP camera up front for selfies and video chat. Android 4.2.2. is installed out of the box along with the Nature UX 2.0 user interface.
