Tweet news: Android 4.0 update comes to Asus Eee Pad Slider
According to a tweet sent out Thursday by the manufacturer,  the Asus Eee Pad Slider SL101 has received an OTA update to Android 4.0. Other Asus tablets previously receiving the update to ICS include the Asus Transformer Prime and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer.

So what is the Asus Eee Pad Slider SL101 all about? Well, we can tell you that it has a 10.1 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. You will not confuse the LCD panel with the Retina display on the latest Apple iPad as the pixel density on the Asus device is a low 149ppi. Running the show is a dual-core 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. 1GB of RAM is on board and the tablet offers 32GB of native memory. A 5MP camera on back (sans AF) shoots video and there is a 1.3MP front-facing shooter. And yes, there is a microSD slot on the side of the device and as the name suggests, a slide out physical QWERTY keyboard.

With many owners of the Asus Transformer Prime complaining that along with Ice Cream Sandwich, they have downloaded some issues on the tablet, owners of the Asus Eee Pad Slider SL101 would be doing themselves a big injustice not to make sure everything works like it should after updating to Ice Cream Sandwich.
