U.S. users of Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 try again with Android 4.0 update
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 was the first tablet in the series that brought us the Asus Transformer Prime and will bring us the Asus Transformer Pad 300. Back in February, Asus started rolling out the Android 4.0 update to Eee Pad Transformer owners. The original update version, 9.2.1.11, had a number of issues that forced the manufacturer to go back to the drawing board to rework the software. The tablet would continuously reboot every few hours and in some cases it wouldn't boot up at all. Starting on Tuesday, the revised update that brings Ice Cream Sandwich to the tablet is now available for U.S. users.

Asus has a new update, 9.2.1.21, which brings Android 4.0 to the tablet and at the same time improves the tablet's system, email and My Library stability. The AppBackUp App now works better. The update also brings support to Wi-Fi Direct and supports unzip in File Manager. In the Browser, a restore tab function is added.

The Taiwan based company announced the update on its blog which can be reached by clicking on the sourcelink.
