These apps have been nominated for a 2018 Google Play Award
Starting in 2016, Google rewarded certain apps by handing out the Google Play Awards. Last year's winners were announced during Google I/O 2017, and included apps like Woorld (Best AR experience), the Memrise language learning app (Best app) and Transformers: Forged to Fight (Best game). This year, on May 7th, the day before Google I/O kicks off, Google will announce the winners of the 2018 Google Play Awards.

Supercell has a bigger and better community than pubg. A lot of pubg fans just ride the hype train.
