The Google Home Mini in Aqua is now available to purchase
In early October, Google unveiled a new Aqua variant of the Google Home Mini with the promise that it would go on sale later that month. For unknown reasons, the model never made an appearance. But today, roughly a month behind schedule, sales have officially begun.
As with the existing Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral variants, the new Aqua model costs $49 and can be acquired online via the Google Store or at Walmart. However, most retailers usually offer some kind of deal on the speaker, so you won’t necessarily need to pay full price.
The Aqua version of the Google Home Mini, which is the best-selling smart speaker on the market, is identical to the other models in every way, both in terms of hardware and features. This means that it supports a number of Google Assistant commands – you can even ask the speaker to tell you a joke by saying “Hey, Google. Tell me a joke.”
Also, as this is a speaker, the Google Home Mini is compatible with various streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube Music, and Pandora.
