The Galaxy S10's Android 10 beta with One UI 2.0 is officially "coming soon"
Samsung started rolling out the Galaxy S8’s Android 8.0 Oreo beta in November 2017 and eventually released the final build in February 2018. The Seoul-based brand then stuck to its November schedule for the Android 9 Pie and One UI beta last year but ultimately brought forward the final version’s launch to December. Now, it seems the company is aiming to speed up the process once again.

Speaking on its official community forum in South Korea earlier today, Samsung revealed (via SamMobile) that its Android 10 beta program complete with One UI 2.0 is officially “coming soon.” This lines up perfectly with a recent report by SamMobile which claimed the beta was on track to launch in October rather than November.

Samsung says the early software build will be available for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. There’s no word at the moment on a Galaxy Note 10 series launch but the company typically makes beta updates available for Note-branded devices a few weeks later.

If the South Korean giant sticks to its new timeline and doesn’t hit any major bumps down the road, the move could be good news for the final Galaxy S10 build release. After all, it may now arrive in early or mid-December rather than the final week. This also means the official Android 10 release for the Galaxy Note 10 series could arrive sooner than Android 9 Pie.

Interested users will need to register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app. The rollout’s expected to commence in South Korea before heading to the US, UK, and a handful of other markets.
