The 0.19" Oppo R5 compared to the first Android phone, the iPhone 6, and Galaxy S6

Phones are getting thinner, we are getting fatter - that's the circle of life these days. As if to prove the first half of that statement, Oppo posted a picture of its anorexic wannabe, the R5. This time around, it is placed next to the first Android phone that was issued in the faraway 2008, the HTC Dream, which was known as the T-Mobile G1 here. Granted, the granddaddy of all green robot gear has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but even if we only look at the screen half, that's at least two time thicker than the 0.19 inches- / 4.85 mm-thick Oppo R5. One picture is worth a thousand dimension specs, indeed.
