Telus' HTC Touch Pro2 shows 3.5mm audio jack in video
Recently, we reported that HTC said that they would be equipping most of their new handsets with a standard 3.5mm audio jack. Before that announcement, only 3 out of the approximately 30 devices released by the manufacturer had the 3.5mm opening. So while the Touch Pro2 does feature some major improvements, like pushing the display from 2.9 inches to 3.6 inches, and making the QWERTY keyboard more PC like, with the GSM version already shipping in Europe with the Ext USB connector, the odds favored no changes to the CDMA model for North America. But alas, an early video review of the Telus version of the handset shows a 3.5mm jack. And if the Telus version is so equipped, most likely the Verizon model will be too. Good times ahead!
