T-Mobile releases first update for the LG G6, change-log is mysteriously absent

The LG G6 is having quite a good start with T-Mobile. The carrier was the first to confirm April 7th as the official release date for the flagship in the US, and then proceeded to ship the device two weeks earlier than announced (March 24th), effectively beating its competitors to the punch.

Now, T-Mobile can also take pride in becoming the first carrier to release a sizeable software update for the G6. Arriving as version H87210e, the patch measures at 124.1 MB.

Sadly, details about the contents of this update are currently scarce, as T-Mo only mentions that the release “includes various updates” in the patch notes. However, given the fact that it weighs in at 124 MB, it's safe to say that some major fixes or changes should be present.

If you've got a LG G6 and you're on T-Mobile, you should expect the OTA patch to reach you soon (if it hasn't already). As always, make sure to charge your phone and connect to a WiFi network before you proceed with the download.
