T-Mobile USA says next Android device coming in early summer

T-Mobile USA has announced that the next Android basedhandset will be out early summer and that later this month, the carrierplans on giving out some more information. The first handset based onGoogle's open source OS, the G1, has sold more than 1,000,000 units toT-Mobile USA customers to date. Those G1 owners can pick fromapproximately 4,900 apps in the Android Market, according toinformation released by the carrier.

While T-Mobile did not reveal the name of their next Android powered handset, we reportedearlier that a leaked picture of the carrier's inventory system showedthat the HTC Magic would be the next Android based device for T-Mobileand may be named My Touch 3G by the nation's fourth largest carrier.
