T-Mobile deal: get Galaxy S8 for $200, Galaxy Note 8 for $400!

T-Mobile deal: get Galaxy S8 for $200, Galaxy Note 8 for $400!

Last year's heavy-hitting Samsung phones — the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 — are still very, very good. This shows even in sales numbers, with people preferring to stick with or buy the cheaper 2017 model, instead of getting the S9 or S9+ for this year.

Why? Well, they still look the part, with super-thin bezels and curved screens, they still have powerful hardware, great cameras, and an up-to-date Samsung Experience user interface.

And it's even harder to pass up on an S8 or Note 8 when a deal like this pops up. T-Mobile is offering users a brand-new Galaxy S8 for $200 or a new Galaxy Note 8 for $400. Of course, there's a catch.

The offer is valid for new line activation and only if you finance your brand-new device for 24 months. You will still be billed $25 per month for the S8 or $30 per month for the Note 8, but your discount will come back in the form of bill credits each and every month for the next 2 years.

I am surprised that anyone would spend $700 for an iPhone 8 with a low resolution display, and a single camera with no portrait mode. Let alone $600 for an iPhone 7 with the same low resolution display and cameras. So $200 for an S8 is a steal of a deal.

Theyre paying for the logo and "popularity" but you can say that about any company :P

Because they're trying to get rid of hot trash. Hard to sell substandard phones when people are used to quality devices like the iPhone.

you probably are only used to iphone's and never used other products. Frog in a pond mentality- so typical with iphone users.

T12RYK has clearly come from living under a rock. Because lots of carriers are still selling iPhone 6's from 2014, iPhone 6s's, 7's, and 8's, including SE's. So if those iPhones are selling so well, then why are some carriers still selling much older iPhones? Taking about hot trash.

Because the iPhone are simply the best. The iPhone 4 would probably outsell the Samsung Note 9, because everyone knows its a horrible device made by a cheap and nasty company.

Is that why there are BOGO deals on iPhones and someone is doing the iPhone SE for $50, what does that tell you, still way over stocked and need to get rid of them.

You are on the right track about Samsung trying to copy, but wrong about the other thing. Go learn and then come back kiddo.

TMO should throw in these phones for free. Lame promo.
