Symbian Belle leaks for the Nokia N8 while it still waits the official Anna update
Symbian Belle update files have leaked for the Nokia N8 and the forum participants say it is working fine. We are still waiting for its predecessor, Symbian Anna, to be rolled out to our handsets, which Espoo promised will be done by the end of this month as an OTA update.

While these Symbian Belle files seem to be the real deal, and the instructions are fairly simple, a quick glimpse through the comments reveals some users reporting problems with OVI Store, Skype, some widgets and so on. Symbian Belle brings the aging mobile OS in line with modern ones like iOS and Android visually - it has a pull-down notification bar, minimalistic signage with a back button, and so on.

Hit the link in the source if you are dying to try it out, but read everything carefully, since you might brick your device for good. Have a look at how the software looks and behaves on a Nokia N8 in the video below.
