Sprint starts KitKat rollout for its version of the LG G2
Sprint customers sporting the LG G2 will start receiving the Android 4.4 update today. The update will add a number of new features while removing some bugs. It also adds support for cloud printing and fixes an issue with Next Radio. KitKat is being sent out OTA, and Sprint says that you need to follow the directions on the screen.

If you don't receive the update today, there is no reason to call up LG to chew out a phone rep. Android 4.4 is being sent out in waves, which means that it could take some time before it finally arrives. You can also try to manually grb the update out of your phone by going to Settings > System Updates > Update LG Software > Check Now. Your best bet is to use a Wi-Fi connection when downloading and installing the update, so that the process doesn't eat away at your monthly data allowance. And of course, you should have your battery charged to at least 50%

If your LG G2 does receive the Android 4.4 update, let us know by dropping a comment in the box below.
