Softcard mobile payment system available for Nokia Lumia 928 and Nokia Lumia 822 with Lumia Denim update
Last month, we told you how the HTC One (M8) for Windows supports the Softcard mobile payment system. Now, with the Lumia Denim update starting to make the rounds, Verizon customers sporting a Nokia Lumia 928 or Nokia Lumia 822 loaded with the latest OS build, will also be able to use Softcard. Formerly called ISIS, Softcard is owned by Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T.

Softcard requires a phone with NFC, a special secure SIM card, and the Softcard app. To pay using Softcard, you open the app and enter your PIN number. Select which card you want to use, and then tap the terminal with your phone to make the payment. Softcard welcomes cards from American Express, Chase and Wells Fargo.

The Softcard app is now available in the Windows Phone Store for the Verizon branded Lumia 928 and Lumia 822. With over 200,000 retail locations currently accepting Softcard, the mobile payment system makes checking out quick and easy.
