To the surprise of... absolutely no one who's witnessed a special sales event like Prime Day before, a number of hot summer promotions on sizzling hot gadgets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus, Apple AirPods Max 2, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch Series 11 have gone live today at Walmart and Amazon, most of them requiring no jumping through hoops whatsoever.
One of the greatest such offers knocks 110 bucks off the regular price of the Apple M4-powered iPad Air 13 in a 256GB storage variant, and if that doesn't sound like a very substantial discount to you, it's probably because you don't realize what product I'm talking about here.
This is Apple's latest (and, of course, greatest) 13-inch iPad Air, and it's only a little over three months old. More importantly, it's one of the fastest tablets around, and it's really not that expensive (especially considering that fact), normally costing $799 in an entry-level 128GB configuration and $899 with the aforementioned 256 gigs of local digital hoarding room.
In comparison, something like the Galaxy Tab S11, which is a 2025-released Samsung 11-incher with a humbler MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor under the hood, typically starts at $899.99... although I fully expect that price point to be heavily reduced during Amazon's extended Prime Day festivities this week.
Even then, I'm sure most hardcore Apple fans... and the vast majority of level-headed tablet buyers out there would much rather own the iPad Air 13 (2026), so you probably don't want to miss this rare opportunity to save the big bucks on what's clearly one of the best tablets in the world without a Prime membership or any other special requirements.
While the max $110 discount is only good with 256GB internal storage space, the most affordable 13-inch iPad Air (M4) variant is also marked down by a significant (and hard-to-beat) $100 from a $799 list price.
