Samsung's newest phones, latest LG G4 leaks, and the rumored HTC Hima Ace Plus specs: weekly news round-up
Once again, it is time for our weekly news round-up – a post where you'll find the most interesting stories from the past week in case you need to catch up. We'll start by taking another look at Samsung's newest smartphones. Last week, the company announced several new models, including a Tizen-powered handset and its slimmest Galaxy phone to date. These aren't as exciting as a new Galaxy S flagship, of course, but they're still worth taking a look at.

LG did not unveil much last week, but that doesn't mean there's nothing new in development in its workshop. In fact, the next G-series flagship is already cooking, according to leaks, and some of its possible specs have been revealed. That's also the case with an upcoming high-end model by HTC, referred to as the HTC Hima Ace Plus. Until the phone is made official, we have its rumored specs to drool over.

These aren't all the read-worthy stories that last week brought us, so check out the slideshow below for our complete list.

maybe, let's see... what I don't like about LG is the home placement button on the back of the phone.

That's a power button, not a "Home" button... But there's no need to press it anyway, because you can tap the screen to wake it.

OnePlus One is easily the best choice for me at the midrange. There's nothing quite as compelling at $349. The only drawback is the lack of SDCard. If not the OnePlus One, then probably going to take a long look at ASUS and Xiaomi as well.

Do you decide what to buy based on the name of the vendor and not the actual product? Well, I decide what to buy after checking the product first irrespective of the vendor. But (personally) I won't buy Xiaomi beacuse of after sales service issues and software. I can't stand MIUI, that's horrible. But if you want bang-for-buck, Xiaomi or other Chinese vendors give you good value.

Hima in our country means "girl's white menstruation." So HTC, please be careful when you market your new flagship phone in the Philippines lol.
