Samsung's Game Recorder+ app lets you record games on the S6 and other Galaxy handsets
Did you know that Samsung has an app called Game Recorder+? Initially available only for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, the application is now compatible with more Galaxy handsets, letting you record the games you're playing on your device at resolutions up to 1080p.

Game Recorder+ has a "floating UI" that makes recording easy, and allows users to activate the front-facing camera in order to add their commentaries in real time. Game audio can be recorded "directly from the source", thus without any background noise, though this is supported only on the S6 and S6 edge. After they're recorded, videos can be trimmed and uploaded on YouTube. The new application even has a function called Game Boost, which reportedly "maximizes memory usage."

According to Samsung, Game Recorder+ is available in 161 countries via Google Play and Samsung Apps, and can be used on the following devices (besides the S6 and S6 edge): Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note II. Have you tried Game Recorder+, or do you plan to?

Nope. I went out of my way to delete Samsung bloat, so there's no way I'm adding another one.

it's funny that the article talks about battery 'drainers' yet Samsung smartphones have an above average battery life, hence I will not read that article. happy Asus user.

Every manufacturer adds their own set of apps to their phones, EVERYONE, including Apple. But i guess you're just another brainwashed troll who calls every Samsung app a bloat and every Samsung invention a gimmicky.

Even if Samsung discovers the cure for cancer those people would still call it gimmick lol

Go educate yourself:http://www.extremetech.com/computing/200017-new-report-details-which-mobile-apps-are-the-biggest-battery-drainers-and-power-hogs Again, Sammy managed to win the grand slam in resource hogging, power draining apps.

Funny, on my S6 those apps don't show, I guess it's just the bad combo of security company/troll that tries once again to scare people.

Yep, AVG is just trying to scare people to download their AVG Cleaner & Battery Saver app Many anti virus companies did the same thing with anti viruses on PC

You need to read better, since Samsung has apps in the top 5 battery drain. But not in storage and cpu hogging, data traffic. So you are incorrect at the resource hogging part.

Copying apple again, they showcase it wwdc, but I m not sure how Samsung can pull this, apple has developed it from the bowel of os, so I m sure it would be buggy

You are an idiot. Do you think that Samsung would have this built in, what, less than 2 weeks? Shut up, dude.

It'll have less bugs than your brain.
