Samsung to launch exclusive Fortnite outfit and emote for Galaxy owners
Samsung is trying to become a major player in the gaming industry and the fastest way to achieve that is to advertise some of its products as gaming devices. That's one of the reasons that the Note series has suddenly become “every gamer's dream.” To emphasize on the phones' gaming capabilities, Samsung signed a partnership with Epic Games for the time-exclusive Fortnite for Android.

Today, the South Korean company announced it will sponsor a unique 100-person Fortnite Twitch Rivals tournament scheduled to take place on September 27. During the tournament, a Pro Team of Galaxy mobile games will dress up their characters in the Glow outfit and use the new Levitate emote to celebrate their victory, as they go head-to-head against PC players.

The Legendary Glow outfit inspired by the Aura Glow color introduced with Galaxy Note 10, as well as the Levitate emote, will be exclusively available to Galaxy owners starting September 27. Samsung also revealed that two previous Galaxy exclusives within Fortnite, the Galaxy iKONIK outfit and Scenerio emote, will officially be vaulted on September 26.

The Glow outfit and Levitate emote, both part of the Overseer set in Fortnite will be accessible on all supported Galaxy devices including Samsung's latest flagship smartphones and tablets: Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+, Galaxy S10, S10+ or S10e, as well as Galaxy Tab S6.

If you don't have Fortnite installed on your smartphone, you can now get it for free via Samsung Galaxy Store or Galaxy Game Launcher app. Here are the rest of the eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets that can redeem the exclusive in-game content this Friday: Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, S9+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, S8+ or S8 Active, Galaxy S7, S7 edge or S7 Active, Galaxy Tab S4, and Galaxy Tab S3.
