Samsung Norway might be telling us to expect a larger display on the Samsung Galaxy S6
Over the weekend, we told you about Samsung Norway's teasers for the Samsung Galaxy S6. Based on real rumors being bandied about online, our theory is that this is really a back door way for Samsung Norway to confirm some of the features expected for the new flagship model. The features include front-facing stereo speakers, a durable and strong build, and curved glass that covers both sides of the phone.

On Monday, Samsung Norway added a new rumor, number four, which says "It has been rumored that the new Galaxy will feature a larger display." So we can now add a larger display to the list of other features that we expect from the phone. Actually, one of the previously listed rumors is not a rumor anymore. Samsung provided teasers to T-Mobile and AT&T that show the Galaxy S6 with curved glass covering at least one of the sides of the phone. We are going to go out on a limb and say that both sides are probably covered.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will see the light of day during MWC 2015 in Barcelona on March 1st. As usual, we will be at MWC to provide you with all of the exciting new product introductions (don't forget that the HTC One M9 will be unveiled sans parenthesis on the same day), late breaking news and hands on videos.

Maybe 5.2" or 5.3" I think 5.5" is too close to the Note 4's 5.7" Unless if they have small bezels like on the G3

agree with you, maybe they just trying to reduce the bezel..i predict that samsung will use metal for the side and use glass like sony on the'll like a mixture of sony and'll be great :D

Wider, not taller. The Edge version is probably be 16:10 instead of 16:9 to account for the.. edges. Either 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 instead of usual 1920x1080 and 2560x1440.

With all these features I am sure the Galaxy s6 will be the closest thing we have ever seen to an iPhone 6.

I doubt they'll remove that much of the functionality.

hahaha how could they afford one? i wouldn't say that, i don't like iPhone cause in my country it's quite expensive - the 16gb ver almost 200$ more expensive than Galaxy note 4.

Indosat, XL and Telkomsel have launch LTE at 900 MHz on December 2014.

Really? Because all 4 US carriers er saying the Edge is better than the iPhone, which means the other S models were at least equal to the iPhone. So, because you think you are Tim Cook, does that mean you have to be ignorant like him too?

Just over 5 days, and we'll know. It'll be another great device, but the phone game is getting boring...pretty much everything's incremental nowadays. The new iPhones, Note, and M8 failed to wow me. Not expecting much from the S6 either.

IMO Project Ara is the most exciting thing in smartphones right now But I'm not sure if it will be mainstream I suspect many OEMs and the carriers will try stop Project Ara since it could cut their profits big time

At his point, a serious shot in the arm is needed. I'm strongly considering not upgrading for 2-3 yrs, and when I do the iphone isn't a shoe in, like it used to be. Nothing grabs me anymore, the iPhone houses the eco system I use most and that's why I remain with it, Galaxy's and Notes are great, but not close to being what would make me drop iOS, HTC looks good, but houses a camera so bad, no one even compares them anymore. I'm not sure about HTC's androids, but iOS 8 and lollipop have so many bugs, you need a can of raid for em. The rest of the phones out there don't even matter. iPhone, GS, Note, and M series are tops, and all four just get the job done. I think I'm bowing out for a couple years, and see what's going on at that time.

Agreed on not being shocked or wowed for awhile now. After having the g3, qhd wasn't as big as most manufacturers made it out to be. If nothing wows me this year I'm sticking with my g3 till something really great comes along. And I feel you on not being OS dedicated as before, I think both apple and Android feel a little to secure on where they stand at the moment. I'm not a Windows fan at all, but I think Windows could be a great threat to IOS and Android. Not for this year and next year but in three to four years it could be.!?

You needed to get the note 4 or the s6 then as the G3 QHD screen is crap and hogs the phone down

My gf has the Note 4 and it's still not a huge difference then 1080p. How's your S6.? Is the screen that nice.? Didn't know it came out yet.!? The way your talking, seems like you've already seen the screen on the S6!?

I totally agree with you, and I'm not dissing anyones fav, just speaking from a personal standpoint. I'm just tapped out on what's out there, and coming this year. In a couple years chipsets and RAM will allow for some pretty sweet stuff. Also phone design is getting stale, if that's the actual S6, I'm not impressed. Nothing last year really hit me design wise, 6, Note, s5, m8 all looked good but we're mostly mehhh. The passport was pretty nice, but not all that either. I'm just gonna sit on my 6 plus, it'll be supported for 3-4 years, and has 128 gigs of storage so I'll be ok. I'm really curious about wearables now, maybe they'll spice things up a bit. I know a guy with a Gear S, and I like it a lot, so naturally I wanna see what Apple's is all about. I'm not upgrading my mini, till Apple totally revamps it. This years mini was a joke to me, other than the nice good color.

Hehe I just had to register here to comment on this. You are totally contradicting yourself. What you said in the beginning was really spot on for me personally since I haven't been convinced at all for the past year or so to upgrade my phone. So we agree on that at least. Then you continue to say that you want to buy the apple watch, and that despite all the disappoitments for you in the past year, you found it in your heart to buy the most EXPENSIVE mass consumer phone to date. You Sir, are going to upgrade your phone in the second half of they year, I can guarantee it!

See post 5. I'm sure you're looking for an argument. You won't get one, I can guarantee it!

That is what I did I am in tech area and because I see it move so fast and nothing being new for the last 3 years I will get the gs6 because it's the best or all the phones features I like. And then I will wait another 3 years because the is nothing really to get excited for anymore

I actually think things will change quite a bit when Samsung completes there flexible oled factory that their spending $3.5bln or so on. But I don't know if I'm ready for that type of a smartphone, so I want to protect the S6 that I will be getting soon, keep it in really good condition, and get a good 2-3yrs out of it.
