Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 gets its first important update
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is Samsung's most recent wearable device. Unveiled two months ago, the smartwatch was released in the United States only recently and is already getting an important update related to its bezel.

Samsung has decided to ship the device with the virtual touch bezel disabled by default, and to enable it, one would have to fiddle with the Galaxy Wearable app on their connected phones.

Now SamMobile reports that Samsung is rolling out an update that enables the virtual touch bezel by default so that users won't have to take any extra actions to turn it on. If you've bought the Galaxy Active Watch 2 and haven't yet enabled the touch bezel, you'll notice that it's turned on after the update.

The update with building number R820XXU1BSI9 is rolling out to the 44mm Wi-Fi version, but we can safely assume that all other Galaxy Active Watch 2 models will get the update as well. Apart from enabling the touch bezel, the update also improves GPS performance and the accuracy of the battery level indicator on watch faces.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 owners can download the update via the Galaxy Wearable app on their connected phones by heading to About Watch / Update watch software / Update now.
